REVOLVERS

Revolvers are a type of handgun, with more than one chamber. A revolver has a rotating cylinder, which contains the multiple chambers, with each chamber holding a single cartridge. When you pull the trigger, it releases the hammer to hit the primer. The primer explodes, firing the round in that chamber. Revolver is a short-barreled firearm cylinder containing multiple chambers and at least one barrel for firing ammunition. Often it is similar to a pistol or handgun but in some cases it may be very different from them, particularly with regard to the method of operation and reloading.
